And this afternoon, Mike heard her ask "What the hell is that dog doing out there?" when referencing to our neighbor's pup.
Ok, giggle, cause I did. You can't help it when such a lil person speaks so fouly. Tehehe. But it brings up a good point....we REALLY need to watch our mouths! Now more than ever! I will admit I am the primary offender--- when I get ticked, it's hard for me to censor! We havent had a swear break out from her since she was almost 15 months old-- it was Halloween night, and she dropped her sippy cup on the floor and said, as clear as a bell "OH SHIT!" ....Mike & I almost choked on our pizzas. Hah!
Hey, at least she uses them correctly, eh?
Anyhow.... she has been reprimanded both times today, told those are not nice words to use and we came up with better words to use for each instance.
--------------
Had a decent afternoon. The girl and I went shoe shopping after work. Gotta love Payless. I got 1 pair of shoes & 2 pairs of flip flops, and got her some sandals for the summer....cost me a total of $47! Score. BOGO, baby.
I got these...I thought they were sorta cute & super comfy:

and new flip flops (just a black pair & a brown pair). Im totally NOT a shoe person, but i loves me flip-flops! I'd wear'm year round if it werent for damn winter. Anyhow, last time I bought some was about 2-3 years ago, and last summer was the end of most of them but one...which are looking a bit worn.
P picked out these: (tho the ones she got are slightly different, and the insoles are all white)
She was so excited to get new shoes! It's funny how such small things can please people sometimes. :-) She did try and convince me to get her these fugly gold colored Zeus style Dora sandals....I was quick to nix those....who in the world?!We got her feet measured, and she is almost a SIZE 10!!!! Wow! So, we got the sandals in a 10 so they should last the summer.
We came home, and made English Muffin Pizzas for dinner. We had so many odds & ends leftovers in the fridge-- which makes for fun pizza topping ideas & combos! She did a chicken one & a pineapple one, i did a spicey sausage one, and a spinach & chili peppers one, and some plain cheese ones.
I ran her around out back before bedtime, and she picked the lil flowers in our grass while I weeded the gardens-- then she wanted to go visit Jazzy and give Jazzy some of the flowers. :-( .... I almost cried. We visited Jasmine's grave and left her some lil flowers and told her how much we miss her. I really do...especially when we're milling around in the yard. Jasmine always popped out of the seemingly no where when you'd be out there. Gardening, laying in the sun, flying kites...she was always out there trotting around the yard with us. This was her favorite time of year! We now have a neighbor's cat taking over Jazzy's territory, and it left us a icky present of a dead mouse out in the yard already. Hooray. :-P
My Aunt & Cousins should be settling in at my parents house right about now.
Last time I saw them, P was just a lil Monkey!

we'll see them this weekend (minus my Grandma-- she's too fragile to travel anymore). Mike has plans to start on my Mother's Day present this weekend too.....which confused me...until Paige told me what it is. LOL. Gotta love a 3 y/o's inability to keep a secret.
Im off for now.
