this is the first time using Windows Live Writer to update my blog…..It came with my current Windows Live update, and I figured i’d give it a whirl….tho im not sure what use it really has….as i could just as easily open my browser.
The long weekend is drawing to an end…it was great! Friday morning we lounged around…then P and I went out and did some errands--- Walmart, then we grabbed some lunch at BK, then walked over to the Carters Outlet and browsed. Afterwards we grabbed Mike some lunch and brought it home to him—we played some out back….attempted to show Paige how to play baseball, tho that was not much of a success—she can be so stubborn!
Saturday I had hoped to take a drive down to my sister''s house—but Mike nixed that in a grumpy way—siting money as the reason. Fine. I didnt want to sit around all day tho (as he would). So i made up some plans…..and surprisingly, he tagged along! So, it ended up being a fun family day—took P to a local play-place, then we went to the movies to see Aliens Vs. Monsters…as we mowed on popcorn, m&m’s and sprite. We were like 3 kids. Movie was hysterical….all 3 of us enjoyed it—and i have a new appreciation for Seth Rogan (previously I just found him annoying, but man, he voiced Bob the Blob HYSTERICALLY!). We walked the shopping plaza a lil more, then went home for dinner--- did Burgers on the grill and ate out on the porch, per Paige’s request. Ended the evening with a “keep away” style game of frisbee out in the backyard.
(P Zonked out in the car……)
As i was tucking Paige in last night, i asked her if she had fun today…her response… “eh. It was OK. But we didnt play anything”. *Sigh*….. i thought it was a great day…..oh well…goes to show you cant please a 3 year old….or at least, only simple things please. :-P
Today my lower back is all twisted up again…and its getting worse. I'm beginning to think it may be AF related…as she is due later this week. I had bad back pain if not last month, but the month before right around this time too…..coincidence? Ugh. Heating pad & advil…..help in spurts.
Needless to say, today was the day of nothingness! Other than cooking a big breakfast for everyone this morning, I can proudly say, I did nothing else! LOL! P and & I lounged on the couch for an hour this afternoon watching DIY Kitchens, then Al Pacino’s Biography (so kid appropriate, eh?! LOL!)….Mike grabbed Chinese for dinner…. and we watched America’s Funniest Home Videos.
I want ice cream and M&M’s. Off to see what we got around here to settle my sweet tooth!

Sounds like a great weekend to me! You know how kids are sometimes, you can spend the day playing with them but since you didn't play this specific game, nothing counts. Buy you know she had a great time! I hope your back gets better. Sometimes I wake up with aches and pains that I don't know where they come from. It's very frustrating. We spent Saturday Spring cleaning the yard and playing outside and Sunday, we got rain so I spent most of the day reading Twilight, have you read it?
M-- Good to know my kid isnt the only one that zones in on one thing that can make or break a day! She did have fun....whether she wants to admit it or not! ;-)
I have not read Twilight yet, but want too! DH and I want to read the book before watching the movie....we really want to see what the hype is all about--- are you liking the book?
Definitely sounds like a wonderful weekend!
And I love Twilight too :). I read the entire series in 2 weeks and then was depressed when it was over! Named our new kitty Cullen after Edward :).
Glad I'm not alone! I don't like science fiction or fantasy and certainly not vampires but somehow these books have me obsessed. I have done nothing but reading since Saturday. What do they have?
Well, back to reading....
Great name for your kitten, Erin!
