Today is my "Friday"....

Today is my Friday...i took tomorrow off to use up some of my leftover vacation time i still have that expires next week. Woo!

Just waiting for an email re: some event this weekend....then I am taking off for 3 days of no radio world. Yippeeeeee!

We *might* take a trip down to Mass this weekend.....maybe. Maybe not. Still undecided. My niece's 11th Birthday party is on Saturday, and my mom also really wants to see us. BUT...we'll be going down there in 2 weeks anyhow for Easter....soooooo.... still contemplating if we wanna do 2 trips so close together or not.

I love spring! I hate spring! I love spring! I hate spring! ;-) .... my love hate relationship has to do with the darn allergies this season brings! I love the warm weather....birds chirping... longer days....sunshine......but the stuffed up nose & itchy skin it brings....well--- i could do without those! (I am majorly allergic to grass--- esp when it's budding!).

Paige's independence is in full bloom. This morning she poured herself her own bowl of cereal for breakfast -- and fed the cats for me too. Lovin' this! Most nights now she has no problem getting herself washed/teeth brushed and into her jammies all by herself. We still get the occasional "i cant" or "help me!" nights....which i dont mind every so often......makes me still feel wanted and needed. ;-)

Last night she randomly appeared beside my bed around 3am. Startled me a bit! I asked her what was wrong-- she said nothing, but instead climbed right into my bed and snuggled up really tight onto me. She was freezing cold! I welcomed the snuggle...and she fell fast asleep.

Mike got in bed around 3:45am...usual time.... and attempted to transfer P back to her own bed. I hear over the monitor:

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, DADDY?!"

"NO DADDY!"

(Mike whispers "its time for you to go to sleep in your bed, Paigey")

"NOT GONNA HAPPEN"!

then i hear her lil feet hit the floor and her thump-thump-thump down the hall. She climbs right back into my bed and once again snuggles tight into me...nuzzling her head into my chest. Mike trails behind her, chuckling to himself...

It was too funny & cute....so we didnt argue. Mike and I slept without much room to move the rest of the night. LOL. P slept great of course! She was wide awake and ready to go at 7am!

(we need a much bigger bed.... a full-size mattress isnt cutting it!)

Luckily, she let me get another hour of snoozing in while she played nicely in her room from 7a-8am. (as she told me "you can sleep 5 more minutes, Mommy"-- love her concept of time.)

Ugh...my sinuses are killing me today. Dayquil Sinus only provided slight relief. Spray did nothing. Blech.

It was confirmed this week that i am indeed allergic to cinnamon. Hooray for me. :-P ....

I did get a chance to go for a nice speed walk/slight jog for the first time yesterday evening! Was nice to get out...and boy am i out of shape.

Playgroup tonight....

...and I just got that email. Im outta here!!!
