Monday...

Spring...has....SPRUNG!!!! Boing!

Had another weather-tastic weekend here in Northern New England, and this time around I was able to thoroughly enjoy it! Saturday we had all the windows open and aired the house out-- I spent most of the day as a domestic Mama.... cooking and cleaning for the 3 of us...pancake breakfast, grilled sandwiches for lunch, then made homemade meatballs & pasta for dinner.

Mike and I watched the movie "Hancock" (Will Smith)... it was cute. I predicted the outcome mid-way thru the movie....tho i thought my guess was far-fetched, but we were astonished when I was right! LOL!

Sunday was nice, slept in.....M made a big greasy heart-clogging breakfast-- then i cleaned up-- & vacuumed the house. P was loving the weather as well, since she can now play in her playroom again...its been months since she's played with all the toys out there (her "playroom" is on our enclosed front porch-- which has no heat, so it's not winter friendly!!). We opened up P's sandbox on the side deck, and I sat out in the sun reading while she dug in the sand, sang, and build sand piles/creations. Then the 2 of us had a PB&J picnic on the porch.... blew some bubbles...and she played in the sand again until she became irritable and overtired and began dumping sand ON the porch, even after I warned her 3x to STOP. :-P ... that was the end of that and inside we went! She laid on the couch watching "a Goofy Movie" for the next hour or so...

Laurie & Ken came by for a visit in the evening-- they were on their way back from a St. Patty's party upstate. We ordered pizza for dinner-- and P enjoyed their visit and having a different playmate ...even if it was just for an hour and a half.

Lil bugger was put to bed around 7pm after a much needed bath...and she still managed to lay in bed and sing/play til past 8pm. Where does this kid get the energy?! Remember, she does not nap. I dont get it. Even a few hours playing in the sun had no effect.

I need to figure out how to bottle her energy....i could make millions!
