- I made an appt. with an OB for November 11th.
- I am thinking about trying out a progesterone cream this cycle-- anyone ever use one? Im looking for recommendations.
- I seriously need to stop having a Fiber One bar for breakfast.
- We went apple picking on Sunday (first time for me and my daughter!). Got almost 20 lbs of apples--- in a variety of Macs, Cortland's, Matsu's and Jonagolds. We also got some fresh cider donuts-- which they were making on the premise and smelled waaaaay too good to pass up...and 2 Pumpkins. All this cost me $13! Deal!
- So now what to do with all these apples?
- I brought some to work with me. We're eating them left and right. Last night P and I made an apple pie (cinnamon free of course), and I made 2 batches of applesauce.
- I also made a lasagna last night (with spinach, no meat). Call me a cooking Queen.
- Then I got a migraine shortly after-- guess I over did it?
- Halloween is this Saturday! I suggested to Mike that one of us take P trick or treating, and the other stay home and hand out candy. Prior years, we both took her out-- but always wondered/worried about leaving the house dark and empty on a notorious trouble maker night of the year.
- Of course, he didn't like the idea (i suggested he take P out t-or-t'ing, since they rarely do things together). He made up an excuse about needing to do homework or something. What a butt.
- I don't mind taking her out-- I'll even dress up. I just figured it'd be a good daddy-daughter time. My dad used to be the one that took me and my friend out trick or treating every year (and we FILLED pillow cases with candy! What fun!).

First of all, I'm so happy you made an appt! Don't know much about the cream, but I know a lot of people that just take a blood test every month to check their progesterone to see if they ovulated. I figure that would be helpful to know! I'm excited for you to try some stuff though!
Secondly - Holy apples!! And that's a sweeet deal! I would be making applesauce and canning it. Maybe an apple crisp and some apple juice! :)
I think you should just tell Mike you guys are going to go and not to worry about it, and then get all dressed up and excited to go, and he'll decide he wants to go instead. lol Or maybe not. It'll be fun either way though.
Vicki I'm like you and I am the one that stays home and David takes Reese out T-or-T. I'm wondering if I will go with her to one or two house just to hear how cute she is when she says "trick or treat!" You really can't get these memories back!
Yea, Ive gone out with her Trick or treating since she was 1-- it is cute the first few houses.... but the novelty has worn off for me already, hence why i wouldnt mind staying home and giving out the candy this year! :-)
