Monday Randoms...

Feeling.... "off" today. It could be the weather.... it's blah and overcast out...and that sums up me. I feel groggy and blah.... a bit nauseated. Yet hungry. Mike got sick overnight, but feels fine now.... and his recap of his incident this morning sort of turned my stomach....So i wonder if that image got me going...or if I caught something from him. No clue. Anyhow...

On my drive into work this morning....I saw a dead cat on the side of route 9. I instantly began welling up...as I thought of the poor family that was to discover today the fate of their furry family member. Im sure he/she was snuggled and comfy at home last night. Fed this morning...and let out for the morning..... and that's how it ends. It sits all too close to my heart, cause WE were THAT family 2 years ago, later this month....when our kitty was stuck and killed on a Monday in September. Will always miss you, Jasmine. Man....even 2 years later, i STILL cry when I think about that day. :-(

On a happier note... Im 37 weeks....and for the most part ready for our family of 3 to become a family of 4. It's hard to imagine tho.... I mean... we're ready and want this....but I still cant envision it....until it happens, kwim? Life just trucks on until he decides to make his debut. Mike is training for his new position...Im trying to keep busy at work...and Paige is busy being a Kindergartner.

We went shopping as a family yesterday....which NEVER happens...so it was a nice change of pace. Spent a TON of money on groceries..... we stocked up the freezer and cabinets so we wont have to grocery shop in the coming weeks. Yea! I plan to make some meatballs later and freeze them.... they'll come in handy for various meals... then will do a ton of crockpot meals when baby time comes....

Fall is ALREADY upon us. 2 weeks ago it was 90 and humid....and the past week it's been in the 60s, low 70s...breezy.... 10 day forecast predicts much of the same. The high this week is like 72! Lows hitting the low 40s at night! Crazy change, so fast! The trees continue to turn yellow/orange. Funny how the seasons jump to quickly these days.... I remember them gradually fading into each other when I was younger....
