Sugar.... 5 year olds....

So for the first time, i failed my 1 hour glucose test! BOOOO!! I passed fine with Paige...and I did it 10 weeks ago and passed fine with an 88. I took it again this Monday, and failed with a 141. I have to take the 3 hour on Monday morning and FAST! Lovely! Hopefully it doesnt make me barf! The nurse feels confident I'll pass the 3 hour fine since I was just on the border line this time. Plus...dosent help I had a bowl of spaghetti and hour before I drank my drink....oops. (they told me i should just eat like i normally do...so i did!)

Teaches me not to be so cocky. Damnit. ;-)

So gotta get into party planning mode for my soon to be 5 year old. 5. 5! Holy cow, 5!!! When did my baby girl get to be almost 5!!?! Eeek! Anyhow, Bolt is the theme this year....I already bought the decor--still need to decide on cake. I may *gasp!*....BUY one this year. Ive made all her cakes to date.....but feeling lazy this year....how bad am I?! Will do cupcakes for her "friends" party.... less to deal with and all kids love cupcakes!

On the topic of a birthday gift...there is so much I see that I want to buy her....but....with her being in this snotty bratty mood lately and wanting to tear down anything good....I fear her hating anything we buy. When did she get such a spoiled attitude? And WHY? We dont buy her things on a regular basis...never have. Yet she feels we should be. *Sigh*. I fear her opening them and being like "oh...is this it?!"...and me getting totally bull-shitted. So..... we're gonna take her to the toy store and let her pick something. Then she can't complain. I'm 90% sure she will pick out a stuffed cat of some sort. Cause 100 of them isnt enough. LOL. Oh the joys of little girls! ;-)
