Busy Busy Daaaaayyyy

Phew. Finally sitting with my feet up...and it's 8:39pm.

Had my 30 week appt today...this time with the Prenatal Coordinator. They pre-registered us for the hospital.....and I filled out the parental portion of the birth certificate. We covered topics like my birth plan .....which I need to fill out in the next few weeks and bring to an appt so they can put it in my file..... then our choices when it comes to circumcision, birth control after birth, Doula availability, etc..... then we did the basics like listen to Dylan's heartbeat....still a good strong solid 145-150 bpm.... and my belly is now measuring 2...yes TWO weeks ahead. I am getting more and more certain he WILL be as big as big sister. Joy, oh joy! Hah! I now go every 2 weeks til 36 weeks......then every week til I deliver. Wow. I also did my 2nd glucose test as well......I passed the last one with an 88...hoping Im still doing good.

Melissa stopped by at work with her youngest of the 4......I havent seen him since he was an INFANT! He's 18 months now....my time flies. And what a cutie. He gave me his old winter hat and a pair of Robeez Melissa says have NEVER been worn. AWESOME! Add in the free Robeez I won from their website...which are 0-6 months....the ones I got today are 6-12 months.... my boy will be in Robeez style. ;-)

Paige and I went to the Carter's Outlet after work to take advantage of the last day of their "20% off your entire purchase" sale.... I got D what may become his "coming home from the hospital" outfit....a cute blue striped Onesie that says "Mommy's Little Man"...with matching pants that have a lil lion face on the bum (and it came with a matching bib, too). I splurged and got this adorable plush, almost fleece like one-piece outfit....so snuggly....and got P a new shirt as well. Paige loves the outlet cause they have a big lego table in the middle that she can play with while Mommy shops.

We stopped by BK, grabbed dinner to go.....and took it to the playground where we had a picnic dinner...then she played on the playground for a bit with a 3 year old girl....then before we had planned to leave..one of her classmates showed up....so I let her stay longer to play. We were there for over an hour.

The "dad" of the girls that showed up told me he's actually the Foster Dad.....him and his wife took in the girls last year when BOTH of the kids' parents were incarcerated. The Mom for neglect (how horrible!), and the Dad for being a dumbass and selling something that wasn't his. LOL. Anyhow....kudos to these people for taking these two girls into their home and giving them a "normal" life. This is the 2nd Foster Family I have met in our little town....warms my heart that good people do still exist!

After the playground, we swung by the library on the way home....came home.....P showered, and I began the nightly picking up of the house...aka....cleaning up after Mike & Paige's daily free for all. :-P. Tucked her into bed...ran the vacuum through the house quickly.....lugged some laundry downstairs....and now...here.I.sit.

Phew.

On a side note...Mike laid MOST of the wood laminate and finished the basement steps this Sunday. Of course...motivation lost upon him again...... hopefully he kicks back into gear and gets his desk done so we can disassemble the one upstairs...like....NOW. :-P
