Good bye 2nd Trimester! Tomorrow I officially begin the 3rd trimester. My oh my, where has the time gone? NOW it seems to be FLYING! It's kind of bittersweet...and hard to hold on to...but Im trying to enjoy these weeks!
Mike finished the subfloor in the basement last weekend...even tho it was boiling hot out. What a guy!
Now we fight over what type of flooring. He gawks at me when I said we should decide this week. He says "WHY?!"...My response "Why NOT?!...WHAT are you waiting for?!" :-P Seriously.... why does this man have no sense of job completion satisfaction?
Still having bed wetting issues with Paige. Limit liquids, even get her up TWO times a night...yes, two...because once isnt enough. We still miss it over half the time and end up having to change her and bed pads nightly. She never wakes up when she soaks the bed, either...sleeps like a log right through it. Last night she peed 2x during the night....Im tired of washing bedding. Its apparently not working and she's not able to hold it at night. Blah. Frustrating.
Woke at 1:45 last night to Mike changing her sheets.... and then Dylan woke as well. I couldnt fall back asleep...my brain started going....he was kicking..... i finally fell back asleep around 3am. Yes, I know something I should be getting used to... ;-)
I am starting to think the shower that I was told about by my Mom & Sister in Law isnt going to happen. They can't spring stuff on us....as I work a lot of weekends and live 3 hours away. They know this. And no one has mentioned anything in over a month. I even registered, after my SIL asked me to. Nada. Ah well, time to start saving/buying what we need ourselves then....
*Yawn*.

3rd tri - woo-hoo!!! I'm so excited!
That's gotta be a HUGE pain for you guys to have to change sheets so often! Have you looked into a wetting alarm? You can search for it on ebay, it's like $12 bucks, but it snaps into their underwear and then sounds an alarm if it feels any wetness, therefore waking them up and hopefully stopping them from going all the way, so they can run to the bathroom. My brother used one when we were kids because he would sleep so soundly, and it worked after a few months.
