Easter weekend has come and gone. I had some extra vacation days I needed to use before I lost them-- so I took Thurs, Fri & Monday off. Ooooo yea, 5 day "weekend" was nice! Granted, I didnt do anything relaxing or fun. I caught up on all my laundry, cleaned the house, thoroughly vacuumed out my car, and just hung around the house. I did manage to get a little bit of sun and read a few chapters of my book one afternoon....and thats about the extent of my "me" time. Ah well, so if the life of a mom!
We spent Sat-Mon in Massachusetts seeing family. My parents threw Mike and I a joint 30th Birthday bash. Was great seeing both families together, as well as our good friends whom we dont see enough these days (and we reminisced about back when Rich turned 21 and we were all 18....LOL). It was also a Easter Egg Hunt/Egg dying party for the kids too. My nieces, nephews, cousins kids, and friends kids ranged in age from 2 to 17....that is, if you consider my 17 year old, 6'4 nephew still a "kid". The kids all had a blast and were LOUD AS LOUD CAN BE. My goodness, I feel like an old lady. They were just freakin' loud. LOL.
Easter Sunday was the mellowest Easter Sunday ever! Which rocked! The 17 dinner guests turned out to be only 8....as a few people couldnt make it for various reasons. Dinner was nice and peaceful, and Paige was well behaved at Carla's house, considering she was the only child there. She even helped set the dinner table! We then spent a few hours at my Nana's house-- where Paige got to play yet again with Erin, my cousin's 5 year old daughter. It's funny....just recently Paige has become like 2 inches taller than Erin...and Erin is over a year older! It does help that I am 5'8, Mike is 6'2. Erin's parents are both shorter than 5'6!
We all slept in and packed up Monday morning-- went out for breakfast, then popped in to Mike's Dad's for a quick visit. We got home in the late afternoon and vegged out.
14 weeks now and feeling pretty decent! Hungry hungry hungry! I did so well in the first trimester with gaining no weight...but its packing on now. I just cant seem to satisfy my stomach most days. I just listened in on the kiddo....he/she is hanging out just below my belly button....got a great strong reading on the doppler! :-)
I found a little stash my mom is working on of baby stuff at her house! LOL! Mothers! Hehe.
Kate at my work is due in exactly 2 months with her son. I am thinking of maybe attempting a small diaper cake for her shower.....

Sounds like you guys had a great weekend - so nice to have some extra days off work too!! Those pics you posted of Paige at Easter were adorable. Loved the little blue easter dress!
I can't believe you're already 15 weeks along now! Yay!!! So exciting to see a few things your Mom's working on too - everyone is so excited for this baby! :)
