I learned a lot from this informative link about the average woman cycle: http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/getpregnant.html
Anyhow...I am trying to get a handle on my hormone situation. It is apparent SOMETHING is off.
Am I high estrogen, or high progesterone? I still cannot find a definitive pattern to point to either. Perhaps I am neither and am just having a reaction to the progesterone?
Basic details:
My "average" cycles are 35 days. (5 more days than they used to be, but whatever).
May 7th-June 11th...I started the horrid back aches the last week of May/first week of June-- followed by a day of being violently ill (vomiting, headache, diahrehea, shakes) at approximately 6 days past ovulation. (on June 3rd)
Next cycle is June 11th-July 16th (assuming af is coming tomorrow.... )
The back aches started June 28th and havent stopped-- Ovulation supposed started around June 30th....I got violently ill on July 3rd (same as last month's vomiting, headache, diahrehea, shakes)....which this month would have been only 3 days past ovulation. Last month it was 6 dpo--- so not exactly "matching up".
WTF is causing these "ill" episodes? My best idea is a hormone imbalance--hormonal dive. According to the website above-- estrogen takes a dive and progesterone increases right after ovulation. With that-- you'd think the progesterone is doing it--- ? Assuming all hormones are being produced at their normal rates...unless one is under/over. Its like i hit this hormonal spike and my body freaks and ejects everything from it-- seriously.
I sit one day before af is due -- with a STILL sore lower back and sore boobs--- usually a "symptom" that goes away a few days before af. They have been hurting for almost 2 weeks now...pretty much right around O'time. (and yes, ive taken many HPT's, all neg).
*sigh*. Just trying to arm myself with info before presenting it all to a gyno! I fear getting sick every month---- its such a sucky thing.

Ugh - I'm so sorry you're going through this, Vicki!! Sounds absolutely horrible!
It does sound like some kind of hormonal thing. Hopefully, your Dr. can easily fix it for you.
