I come up with so much to blog about...but as time rolls on....I get more and more......overwhelmed!
Lets just recap....in lovely symmetrical bullet format, shall we?
- Had a 4 day weekend. Woo! Spent my 1st day barfing my brains out and sobbing like a baby cause I felt so bad (after my guests left of course--i sucked it up and held it all down whilest they were here....didn't wanna be THAT bad of a hostess!). Yuck. My dreaded monthly hormone imbalance. Ive been told the only solution is to get pregnant or go on the pill permanently. Basically, shortly after ovulation each month, my hormones take a major DIVE-- wrecking my system into self-destruct mode. Blech.
- Im in the 2ww, btw. I hope for the sake of all sanity that I get a BFP this month. Please, oh PLEASE!
- Our friends, Josh & Kate, were visiting from Vegas-- they were our Friday guests. We havent seen them since they moved down there 3 years ago. It was great to catch-up...and the kids hit it off very well. Our house was a toy tornado by day's end.
- This weekend we gained a Slip 'n Slide AND a pool! Wooohoo for summer fun! The water bill this month.....I don't want to think about right now. :-P
- Im in my brother's wedding next year...and couldnt be more frustrated. Don't get me wrong....I love them and am honored to be involved-- but my fatness ruins my want to stand in a big fat person's dress yet again and have it photographed for all to remember. I did that 2 years ago at my other brother's wedding-- and refuse to look at the photos I ruined. I was by far the beached whale in the sea of slim people. Blech. Yes-- i NEED to do something about it-- and only I can fix myself!
- Our kittens will be turning 1 the end of this month/early next month! Time flies. They are getting restless in the summer heat and driving us insane. The occasional moth or fly that gets in tho-- stands no chance. Nor does our knick-knacks or plants they knock down whilest chasing said bugs.
- We went up to Claremont for the 4th of July this year-- cute festival they do. Got fried dough and cotton candy -- laid out on a blanket and listened to a cover band...then after dark, watched a really long good fireworks show! Paige jumped up & down in excitement cheering through most of it! (tho part of the jumping was because she had to pee-- and I told her to hold it...LOL...yea, nice Mommy..;-)) So glad she is liking them now!
- Our cucumber plants are getting HUGE! At least all that rain we got over the past 2 weeks did something good.... I predict we have a mad supply of cucs by next month...
