Ya know....thank goodness I am medicated these days, or I would be a blubbering mess right now. Basically... I was just informed that I will lose my full-time position/salary come September....and move to a part-time position...with an hour cap. They did give me a decent hourly rate...but seriously. This job is why I moved my life 3 hours away. Bye, bye benefits. Fuck that. I don't have a degree for nothing. *Sigh*.
Someday, I will learn the social skills needed to gain REAL life friends. Not ones that use me for what they need, and talk about me behind my back. You think I would have learned by now...being 31 years old. But alas, no. Im still struggling to figure out true friendships. Guard is back up.
In happy news...my boy continues to just be awesome. He's standing a lot more now, and uses just one hand to brace himself. He's learning "in & out"....as in, putting something into something, then taking it back out. He does this with the balls in is FP fishbowl, over and over again...and even experiments with taking the balls out, then putting them into the back of his lil tow-truck...then back out..and back into the fish bowl again. He also is starting to "get" toys and play appropriately with them....like the ball drop on his activity-cube. He drops the ball down the tunnel/ramp over and over again now. :-)
Baby girl will be 6 in just 2 month. How did this happen? LOL. She is also now officially a FIRST GRADER!!!! No big summer plans. So far she is enjoying a pretty much schedule free days....
back to "work". :-P
