sorry to be such a stranger.....life has just been.....well....happening!
My baby boy is just amazing us daily....he is now FULLY mobile...and quick! A week ago he started crawling a bit....and in just 1 week.... he has taken off fully crawling and now pulls up onto his knees on anything that can support him. He's also perfected going from on all 4s to sitting up, and back again. Today I put him on his bedroom floor with some toys....now mind you, this USED to keep him occupied for up to 45 minutes.....and I quickly went to my room to remove my shoes. I came back out...a minute later.... and he was half-way across the kitchen, headed for the porch door! Lil stinker. Hehe.
Love love love these stages and milestones. But part of me is in total denial. I cannot believe my BABY is going to be 8 months old this week. He now has TWO teeth. He claps, he's starting to eat what we eat, he has a great sense of humor, he crawls, he explores, he says "Mama", "Dada" and "baba", he is SUPER wiggly and determined, he loves to bang his toy hammer on the table and chairs...as if he's "fixing" it.... he LOVES trucks and his eyes light up when he sees pictures of them....he is just AWESOME...and he is becoming himself....a lil boy....his own little self....and oh so quickly!
Meanwhile... my "baby" girl....is about to be a Kindergarten graduate. She asks big questions about life....about the world around her... she worries about people.... loves books and computers and music... she has 2 wiggly front teeth and is excited about possibly losing one soon... and is already planning out her 6th birthday party.
Where is time going?!
Been busy also with home renovations. Rocked our kitchen. Selling a ton of our CRAP this weekend. I got my belly cut and sewn back together to fix the damage of 2 mammoth kiddos. It's sore and super tender.....and still looks icky and lumpy...I reeaaaallly hope when the puffiness goes down, it looks somewhat better.
Thats life in a nutshell right now.... trying to grasp all the changes around me while embracing them as well.....phew.
