Let me start by stating...I am so over the moon in love with my little man! Seriously. He is the best lil guy in the world! Of course I am biased...but who cares....I am the Mommy. :-) I cant help but constantly kiss his fuzzy lil head when I hold him!
We split forces yesterday...and Mike took Paige out to get catfood & litter...then they went sledding together. Meanwhile, I took Dylan with me grocery shopping. It was an adventure to say the least....he spent some of the trip in the carseat....in the ring sling...then just in my arms.... cycle and repeat. Its been a few weeks since I food shopped...so we needed pretty much EVERYTHING. It was quite the task pushing a LOADED shopping cart around the store with one arm! LOL! Anyhow... I didnt mind it...and was nice being with just my lil man...and Paige had a BLAST with just Daddy!
Dylan turned 3 months old yesterday! Where has the time gone? In the past 2 weeks his hair has begun to finally grow in and fill out a LOT...though mostly only on the top so far. So far it's staying dark! Still unsure of what his eye color will be. Some days it looks like they will turn brown....but then other days they are still REALLY blue. Time will tell! He's getting better hand/arm control daily and loves to stick anything plush and soft into his mouth and gnaw on it (still has no interest in real teething toys tho...he prefers his burp cloths!). He's also now officially a drool machine.
We still need to invest in a highchair...and he's due for a new carseat soon as well! I figure we'll get the highchair when we get closer to starting solids....so he's got at least another month or two before we need to get one. I have my eye on one currently...
For car seats, I'm leaning toward the new Evenflo Triumph Advance 65... or the Graco MyRide 65... Target has both on display in-store... we hope to try him in them both before making up our mind.
Taking Paige to Disney on Ice's "Princess Wishes" next month! We surprised her with tickets on Saturday. I also let her choose who she wants to go with...and she chose one of her friends. I asked said friend's Mom...and they are excited to go (her mom will go as well). Looking forward to a Princess night out! :-)
My niece Sharon is due with her first baby anytime now!! I predict.... January 22nd.... 6 lbs, 10 oz... 20 inches. :-) Come on out, baby Mathew! (Actually, my original prediction was January 12th... but that's this Wednesday...hmmmm!)
Expecting a big snow storm this Wednesday....so Im trying to squeeze in a bunch of work today and tomorrow.... anticipating I will NOT be working on Wednesday....so not worth the hassle of a commute. So...back to work I go...
