Phew- what a crazy day/week!
Yet another co-worker is leaving. We now have no mid-day DJ on 2 stations, and no still no afternoon drive on the Hot AC station..... the Production Guy left last month...but that was filled with the mid-day DJ from KNE. What a mess. You'd think Saga would get the picture by now....but nope. 5% pay-cuts til who knows when arent highly tolerated.
Just got in from the last Playgroup of the season (it runs on the school calendar). Bummer! There is a girl in there that is 1 month older than Paige, and she makes my child look like an Amazon. LOL. This lil thing wears 2t clothes, with the waist cinched up a few inches! She is so TINY! Granted, her parents are both rather small...I'd estimate they are both under 5'5. Paige had a blast as usual running around with all the girls.... fortunatley they will all be in preschool together in the fall! Yea!
I had to miss Preschool's Open House--they did it on Tuesday Night...but we had no sitter...and Mike had to work as usual.
My neice is ENGAGED!!! Her boyfriend proposed over the weekend. Congrats to them. She plans on a wedding in about 2 years....decent timing, considering they are only 22. Happy for them. Makes me feel old tho...... but hey....we were 24 when we got married too.
Paige's 3rd follow up with the ENT was today. Once again, it took myself and a nurse to HOLD HER DOWN. He finally got a clear look in her ear, and was happy to report the dried blood is finally GONE! Woooo!!! The drops worked this time. He looked around in there, then did this thing where he "blew the wind" inside her ear.....he says there is a lot of wax in there, but he could see the corner of the drum, and it responded properly to the airflow he blew in. He formally discharged us...and recommended she now get her hearing tested to just ensure everything is 100%.....so...we go in next month for a hearing test. Can't hurt...plus, good to ensure she can hear fine BEFORE she starts school, ya know? I am relieved we can stop the drops now and no more doc. I commend Dr. Wilson.....he is known in the area for being very harsh with his bedside manners ....but I think he has a soft side for children....because he has been nothing but very gently and softspoken with me & Paige...and patient.
Im hungry...but will wait til after P goes to bed to eat. She had pizza at playgroup..and is snacking on carrot sticks & cucumber slices while watching cartoons.
I think Ill go join her now....besides, she needs to get into the tub soon too....then beddy-by time!

It's great to hear that Paige's ear is fine. I'm sure the hearing test will be ok, too.
I can't believe we're out of school already. This year is flying by!
Congrats to your niece! I was 23 when I got married and it feels like yesterday! I'm happy where I am now, but I would love to time travel to that time for a day or two.
What a bummer about work. Does that mean more work for you?
