*drum roll please*
......after a few failed attempts (she would try to give them up...we'd get them all set for the fairy, but come bedtime, would cry for one....and i swore we'd do this tear-free...so we would just try again another night)......the binky fairy is coming tonight! Tonight she said she was "really ready!!" No tears, shes fell asleep in her own bed just fine without one...binkies are in a basket awaiting the fairy! Hooray!
As promised....the fairy is going to bring her a "Kitty in my Pocket" as a thank-you for all of her pacifiers.
This was a tough one for me as well as her. The pacifier has always been her bedtime crutch.....its one of her last remaining "baby things" she does! Awwwwww. The last time we tried to give it up, she cried for it right before falling asleep....and i cried with her!
Such a big girl now! Im so proud!
