Snuggly and Snuggie...

I wish we, as humans, were equip with full-system video recorders. Yes, memories are one thing...but sometimes they can be splotchy and fleeting.

Dylan slept from 8pm to 5am last night...and was up and starving at 5am...so I got up for the day then. It was still dark out, so we headed out to the couch, and I snuggled up with him under my Snuggie as he slugged down 6oz. He then proceeded to goo and gah and hem and haw about what I can imagine is his recap of his dreams last night and wondering why we were laying in the dark living room and not sitting in his room. Then he proceeded to nuzzle into my side....head at my armpit....wedged between me and the back of the couch...and we both dozed off til 7am. :-)

Memories like that, I wish I can remember fully, forever...especially when he's a 6'3 grown man. His lil warm snuggly body in his baby blue light-weight cotton feetie jammies...his lil grumbly voice mumbling behind his binky. :-) Giggling together when he grabs the snuggie and pulls it up over his eyes. .....

Yesterday was GORGEOUS out! 70s and sunny. Paige had a play date after school....we ended up staying there for dinner too, before walking home at dusk. Was nice to chit-chat with another Mom.

Work is busy....should get back to it...
