More leaps & bounds

So despite this week sucking out loud.... Dylan has officially perfected 2 more milestones this week!

• He can now hold his own bottle and efficiently feed himself
• He can now sit up unsupported for long periods of time...and even rock and move without falling over!

Rock on, little dude! The bottle holding task has made life in our crazy house MUCH easier. Now I don't have to stop what I am doing to feed him---like making dinner....or having my meal go cold while I feed him. He now happily sits in his bouncy seat and will feed himself. Came in handy last night and this morning when I was making breakfast.... ! Now don't get me wrong, I still enjoy and DO snuggle him and insist on feeding him at other times! :-) This just makes certain times soooo much easier-- an no more super fussy baby while I rush through an important task!

So this week has been interesting. Crappy sleeping from the infant.... more mega melt-downs from the 5 year old, craziness at work, my much anticipated hair appointment was canceled and my car failed inspection because it needs FOUR new tires...and to top it off....today is April 1st...and it is SNOWING out. LOL. Ha, ha, Mother Nature.

*Sigh*... So, amidst the crazy week....good things do still creep in. :-)

Oh, and he did finally sleep well last night! Though I anticipate it to be a baby April Fool Joke.....Hehe. He slept straight through from 7:30pm-4:30 am.... woke- diaper change, 6 oz...then went right back asleep til almost 8am!
