Bath time Q's....

Funny how different kids can really be! By this time, Paige already had her 2 bottom teeth. Dylan is now 5 1/2 months old...and there is still no sign of any teeth. Fine by me....I'm loving the big gummy smiles!

They also differ in their food tastes. Paige was all about the veggies, Dylan about the fruits. She loved sweet potatoes, he didn't care for them (tho I couldn't eat ANY potato product when preggo with him, so that doesn't surprise me.)

Im at a loss as to bath time stuff. The late evening tends to be so rushed these days, being a solo mom with 2 young kids. When he was a newborn, and going to bed MUCH later...i used to bathe him after I put Paige to bed. We'd have our quiet, peaceful warm bath in the kitchen sink...lights dimmed...it was a sweet bonding time. However, now that he's a bit older...he's going to bed before her.... and we all know 5 year old prohibit any "quiet and peaceful" time when they are awake.

So...baths have been half-assed.... Either I wet him down quick in the sink...or dip him in the tub for 2 minutes while big sister is also bathing.... I feel like we're missing out on fun "bath time"...like I used to have with Paige when she was this age. He doesn't like the bath-ring yet... actually, when in it...he tries so hard to touch his hand to the water, the thing topples over immediately....and I spend bath time constantly up righting him.....never had that issue with Paige. He doesn't want to lie down in the tub.... and he's too tall now for the big blue baby tub that I used to put in the sink. What does everyone else do/use? I would like to regain bathtime again.... I may try him in the kitchen sink....tho I worry about the germ factor...?
