Life trucks on...

One day, not so long ago....my daughter was a midget starting all day Kindergarten. Suddenly, she is tall and lean....and a 4th grader. Wait. How did this happen??? My almost 4 year old asked me last weekend to take the training wheels off his bike. I was hesitant, but he was so insistant, i figured why not...i could always put them back on. I helped him balance for a minute by holding his front handlebars steady....and then he took off riding. He's been riding like a little pro ever since. On two wheels. Im still shocked, and proud! Im afraid to show him how to tie his shoes....cause I think he will master it in 5 minutes. And then I will have nothing big left for little kid teachings. Maybe I will hold that one from him ...just for a little bit....so there is something he still needs help with. ;-D He dresses himself, can wash/bathe himself, fully 100% potty trained (for a year and a half now!) and recently even started wiping his own butt. What do i got left?? Kids. Why do they grow up so fast? Dont they know us adults just wish to be kids again?? :-)
