Eddie the Iguana passed away Saturday night...after almost 17 years. While saddened, I feel more guilty...as I wish I had given him more attention the last few years of his life. After becoming a parent...he went to the back burner...and Ill never forgive myself for doing that. I mean, his needs were always met (i fed him and kept his tank warm-- but our daily interactions almost ceased at times...) I hope he held those memories of his earlier years within him.
