Monday round up...

She likes me, she really likes me! LOL. I took Paige out snow-tubing on Saturday at Granite Gorge...and for the first time in a loooong time...she had nothing negative to say (read past posts about how she always finds faults in ALL we do...makes me sad...)...she honestly had a total BLAST! And to quote her "That was AWESOME!!!"....Was so nice to hear, and we had a ton of fun together (even tho I was FREEZING! LOL!-- Can you believe I do not own a pair of winter boots or snow pants? Yea...I don't.....). Because of all the snowmelt on Friday, the snow was really iced over and we got some good speed on that hill! Will have to go again next year as a family!

Saturday night/Sunday morning= no sleep for me. I got up with D around 2am for his nightly feed.....got him back to bed and climbed back into my bed around 2:45am. Then at 3:30 am I woke to Paige sobbing in her room. Initially, I thought she just had a bad dream....she just kept crying and wouldn't tell me what was wrong. Then she finally tells me she had fallen out of bed--- which I didn't believe cause she was in bed when I came in to her, and I never heard a "thud". She then says she hurt her head.... and bad mommy...still thinking she dreamt all this.... I rub my hand across her head to tell her she's ok....and then I feel this HUGE lump on her forehead.

UGH! I then felt like such an ass for doubting her! Bad Momma! So.... she really DID fall out of bed...she whacked her head on the frame of her bed on the way down.... Poor kid. We laid on the couch together til almost 5am with an ice-pack on her head watching the Flintstones & Jetsons... Then I slept in her bed with her til 7:30am.... Other than the big greenish/blue lump on her head now...she's OK. *Yawn!*\

My parents came up for a visit on Sunday. Was very nice to see them...I haven't seen them since Christmas. Of course they were in awe and shock over how much the baby has changed and grown...and Paige was uber excited to have Nana as a playmate for a few hours. They played Barbies for over an hour....then we all went out for lunch.

School vacation week here! No big plans...
